I asked again what we would need to pay today to hold the vehicle. That was okay, if it saved me time down the line, but I still wanted to make sure the issues were addressed. Russell took us into the office, and had us start filling out paperwork for purchase. We requested paying a deposit to hold the vehicle. Since I had not planned on this when I left my house, I did not have my checkbook (I intended on paying cash), and wanted those issues addressed anyway. There were some brake issues that should be easily fixed, and a scrape on the side that we thought would rub out. He did find it, though, and I got to test drive the car. The car was new to the inventory and had not yet gone through service, so it took about 45 minutes to find. Monday: I was in the area for unrelated reasons and was curious about a used car I saw on their website, so I stopped by and met Russell. After this past week, though, I will never set foot anywhere near there again. I purchased a car there four years ago, and had all its service performed at Waltrip Honda. Previously, I have had positive experiences with this company. TL DR: Darrell Waltrip Honda suffers from a systemic lack of honesty, follow-through, and communication. IВ’m so over them and blaming me for any issues that come up with the car. ItВ’s a fit! I only drive it to work and back. Each time it breaks they tell me not to be so hard on my car. It should be a one time fix especially for a car thatВ’s two years old and has had only one owner in itВ’s life span that only takes it to the dealership to get everything done including new tires. I shouldnВ’t have so many reoccurring issues. They interrupt you and transfer you before you can finish your sentence. I keep having the same issues break with my 2016 fit and they say they В“fixed the problemВ” and a couple months pass and I have the same issues. This is by far the worst dealership IВ’ve been to and IВ’m ashamed I bought my car from them brand new. I call the operator to transfer me to the service department only to be hung up on again. I call the parts department and they transfer me over to the service department just to be hung up on. I leave a voicemail and no one calls me back. I canВ’t get in touch with the service department to schedule an appointment.
